Freight Policy

 

Delivery Address and Contact Details:

When placing an order with us, where we are to deliver goods to you, we require a physical street address. To assist us in processing your order, please also provide your land-line or mobile telephone number. Delivery is via courier and we don't deliver to PO Boxes. Please note that an authorized signatory needs to be at the delivery address to sign for and collect the goods, and that photo identification may be requested.

 

Stock Availability

Our stock level is a combination of stock availibility from us and our vendors. The stock availability indicator can only be treated as a general guide and is updated once every two days. There are the occasional chances that an order of the exact product may be placed minutes before yours. You will be notified as soon as possible if that happens and a full refund can be given if you do not wish to wait for the backorder.

Proof of Delivery

If you haven't received your order or require a proof of delivery after the standard lead time, please email: accounts@shreddersdirect.com.au

 

Delivery Lead Time

For delivery to major State, Territory cities and their surrounding areas, please allow 1-5 working days from date of clearance of payment providing stock is available for delivery.

For delivery to more remote or rural areas, please allow a further 1-2 working days.
For shredinabin models, please allow a further 2-3 working days for assemble and testing.
Despite the fact that we try our very best to keep at least 80% of what we sell, certain products are
hard to obtain. If there's a delay to your order, you'll be informed of the ETA (estimated time of arrival) via email or phone.

 

Can I buy directly from your Pick Up Centre?

This is not possible yet but we will be moving into newer bigger premises soon so watch this space.

 

Sales, Warranty & Returns Policy

If you receive a product that appears to have been "Damaged in Transit" - that is, damaged in transit from us to you - you should:-   

 

  • Refuse to accept delivery of the product.
  • Direct the courier to "Return goods to sender".
  • Notify our Customer Service staff immediately.

 

Returning Product for Refund, Service or Replacement

 
 
  • An RA (Return Authorization) number must be obtained from our customer service department before any goods are returned
  • If a product is faulty, does not match the description or is unfit for its intended purpose a refund may be available upon request. However ShreddersDirect reserves the right to confirm the unsuitability of the product before a refund is issued.
  • We do not refund or credit for incorrect choice. (Some exceptions to this rule are made on a case by case basis.)
  • Items that are being returned for credit for incorrect choice: (Please see above point.)
  • MUST be unopened in their original undamaged/unmarked packaging, and will incur a restocking fee of a minimum of 10%. NO credit is available for any freight paid.
  • Are returned for shop credit or replacement only, refunds are not avilable in this case. This credit will be based on the lesser of the original purchase price and the current price when we receive the product back.
  • No goods will be accepted for refund or credit after 7 days from the date of invoice unless faulty, do not match the description or are unfit for their intended purpose.

 

General Conditions

 

  • RA's are valid for 14 days only, any item sent after 14 days will not be accepted by our returns department.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any returns that: -      
  • are incomplete or missing parts; or
  • are not returned in their original packaging,
  • show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging.
  • do not include a valid Return Authorisation Number on the shipping label.
  • have an expired Return Authorisation Number.

 

  • Events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return or warranty repair or replacement.
