The Kobra 270TS C4 is a touch screen large office shredder, Its manufactured to the highest quality by Elcoman in Italy. The Kobra 270TS C4 comes with a wide 270mm throat, a 110 litre bin and shreds paper, CD/DVD, Credit Cards, Credit Cards with chip, Floppy disk. It shreds up to 25 sheets of paper in one go and has a 24 hour continuous motor which means its incredibly strong compared to shredders that do not have a 24 hour motor..

All functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the touch screen. The touch screen also shows the current status of the machine including if it is standby mode. All models feature 2 separate sets of cutting blades and collection bags; one for paper and one for CDs/DVDs and credit cards. For the shredding of transparent materials like acetate and microform simply keep your finger on the Forward control for 5 seconds and the machine will run for 30 seconds.

Kobra 270 Shredders all have 24 hour continuous duty motors, an automatic Start/Stop function a stand by function which cuts all power to the unit, a heavy duty chain drive with steel gears and are 100% jam proof. All versions will automatically stop when the collection bag is full or the door is opened and will display a light to show which has occurred. The cabinet is also mounted on casters for ease of movement around the office.

When the machine has not been used for just eight seconds, the shredder goes into automatic power saving stand-by mode and can be restarted by simply inserting material into the machine to be shredded. When the machine has not been used for four hours, it automatically disconnects from the mains power supply and even switches off the Energy Smart light so the machine is not left on when nobody is in the office.
